Henrik Nylander

Henrik Stefan Erik Nylander (born November 15, 1914 in Härnösand , † May 10, 1993 in Lidingö ) was a Swedish civil engineer.

Nylander graduated from the Royal Technical University in Stockholm in 1939 and received his doctorate there in 1942. From 1947 he was a professor of structural engineering there.

He was significantly involved in the state standards in Sweden on concrete and reinforced concrete and also in the steel construction standards.

In 1984 he received the International Award of Merit in Structural Engineering .
