Henry Lankenau

Henry Lankenau ( 1908 - 1987 ) was a Bremen politician (SPD) and briefly a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Henry Lankenau joined the Socialist Workers' Youth (SAJ) in 1923 and was its last chairman in Bremen from 1931 to 1933. Under the National Socialists he continued this work illegally and was sentenced and imprisoned for it.

In 1960 he was spokesman for the advisory board in the Bremen district of Huchting . In the 5th electoral term of the Bremen Citizenship , he was briefly a member of the Bundestag in 1965, replacing the late Anna Stiegler .
