Herbert Valerian

Herbert Valerian (* in Stolberg , Rhineland) is a German cyclist. He was German champion and German runner-up in freestyle unicycling in 1993 and 1994.

Life

Valerian learned the trade of a precision mechanic . In 1993 he won the German championship in freestyle unicycling, in 1994 he was German runner-up in this discipline.

In addition to this sporting achievement, Herbert Valerian received special honors for his role as "Max the Clown". Here he is particularly committed to seriously ill children. As a result of this voluntary work, the city of Aachen awarded him the “child-friendly rating” in 2002, a special prize from the city for exceptional social commitment. In 2016 he was awarded the honorary prize of the city of Stolberg.

Herbert Valerian is a member of the " Magic Circle ". He lives in the Stolberg district of Venwegen .
