Herbert Schmid-Eickhoff

Herbert Schmid-Eickhoff (born July 15, 1953 ) is a German entrepreneur.

Life

He completed a commercial apprenticeship as a large u. Foreign trade merchant before studying business administration with a focus on human resources and business education in Frankfurt am Main and Giessen . He gained his professional experience at various educational institutions and manufacturing companies, each with a focus on IT training in the areas of computer graphics, animation, DTP, multimedia applications and the like. a. Application-oriented EDP programs and production tools before he founded Macromedia GmbH in 1993 , with the aim of offering professional training for media professionals.

Herbert Schmid-Eickhoff was the majority shareholder and managing director of Macromedia GmbH for twenty years, which in 2006 was one of the first media universities to offer courses in media education nationwide. In spring 2013 he transferred a large part of his shares to the Galileo Global Education Group and kept a stake of 20%
