Hermann Kreyet

Hermann Kreyet also: Krevet, Krefft, Creuet or just Hermann (* around 1365, † around 1420) was the monastery provost of the Uetersen monastery .

Life

Hermann Kreyet was Johann's successor and was first mentioned in a renewed letter of purchase about Kurzenmoor in 1394 , in which he also acquired several “Rogten Hülde (Gülde)” and 16½ acres of land for the monastery in Uetersen . This letter of purchase was renewed in 1397. In 1397 it appears in a document with the priory Mrs. Beken (Beke). On April 11, 1404 he is listed as "Herr Hermann Propst zu Uetersen" and on September 15, 1408 he appears as "Hermen Creuet to Utersen". In a document from 1420 he was now called Heinrich ("Henricus Kevet praepositus in Uetersen"). Hermann Kreyet died around 1420 and was succeeded by Nicolaus Poppe .
