Hermann Lussmann

Hermann Lußmann (born September 9, 1930 in Gams bei Hieflau ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ), businessman and sawmill owner. Lußmann was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1980 to 1990 .

Life

After primary school, Lußmann attended a secondary school and then the commercial academy in Graz. He then completed his commercial practice in his parents 'company and in Salzburg and took over his parents' company in 1954. In addition, Lußmann acquired a sawmill in 1956.

politics

Lußmann started his political career in 1970 as a member of the municipal council of Gams bei Hieflau, where he was elected mayor in 1975. Lußmann was also a member of the Styrian state parliament from 1977 to 1978 and from 1980 worked as a councilor of the Chamber of Commerce for Styria in the tourism section. Lußmann represented the Austrian People's Party between April 15, 1980 and November 4, 1990 in the Austrian National Council.
