Hermann Mazurkiewitsch

Hermann Mazurkiewitsch (born October 12, 1925 ) is a former Austrian boxer.

He was Austrian bantamweight champion in 1948 and took part in the 14th Summer Olympic Games in London in the same year , where he was eliminated in the preliminary round against Pedro Carrizo from Uruguay and finished 17th.

At the European Championships in Rome in 1951 , he won a bronze medal in bantamweight. He defeated Lennart Ahlbin from Sweden in the round of 16 and Maksymilian Grzywocz from Poland in the quarter-finals before he was eliminated from Ireland in the semi-finals against John Kelly.
