The noble family of those von Lanzenkirchen was an Austrian noble family in Lanzenkirchen in Lower Austria .
history
In 861 and 891, King Ludwig the German called a church "ecclesia Anzonis". Lanzenkirchen is mentioned in a document around 1130, it says: "Uvolfker de Lanzenkirchen"; This member of a ministerial family is mentioned again as a witness in 1132. These lords of Lanzenkirchen named themselves after the existing fortifications in Lanzenkirchen and were probably fiefs of the Counts Formbach-Pitten.
The noble lords of Lanzenkirchen probably also built Schwarzenbach Castle in Schwarzenbach .
