The manor house Kaltenbrunner in Schalchen , Upper Austria , was built in 1742 in baroque style according to old plans by Carlo Antonio Carlone and served mainly as a representative country house. In 1887 a fire partially destroyed the building, which was rebuilt true to the original in 1898. In 1904 a horse stable, a dam, a trout farm and a chapel for ten people in neo-Gothic style were added. In 1906 the local hammer mill owner Karl Kaltenbrunner bought the building, carried out several alterations and had it declared as a manor house. The manor was demolished in 2016 (except for the chapel and the horse stable).
