Hindu Munnani

The Hindu Munnani is an extremist national-Hindu oriented party from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu .

The party was organized in 1980 by members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as their political mouthpiece in Tamil Nadu and to counter the increased conversions of Hindus to other religions. In 1993 the Hindu Makkal Katchi split off from her .
