Hiroko Oyamada

Hiroko Oyamada ( Japanese 小山 田浩子 Oyamada Hiroko ; * 1983 in Hiroshima ) is a Japanese writer .

Life

Hiroko Oyamada studied Japanese language and literature at Hiroshima University . After completing her studies, she had various jobs - among other things, she was employed by a temporary employment agency at an automobile manufacturer - which inspired her tale Kōjō (dt. Factory). In 2010 she was awarded the Shinchō Prize for Kōjō . Three years later she also received the Akutagawa Prize for Ana (dt. Hole).
