The Hlinka youth (also Hlinkajugend , Slovak : Hlinkova mládež , HM for short ) was the youth and youth organization of the Slovak regime of the Hlinka party from 1938 to 1945 . It was named after the former party leader Andrej Hlinka , who had died before the youth organization was founded. Their commanders in chief and leaders were Matúš Černák (December 15, 1938 to April 28, 1939) and Alojz Macek (May 1, 1939 to May 8, 1945).
