The Sawky Farm ( Ukrainian Хутір Савки / Chutir Sawky ) is a small, private, ethnographic open-air museum in the Ukrainian village of Novi Petrivzi, 20 km north of Kiev .
The museum
The theme of the museum is rural life in the 18th and 19th centuries. It consists of an in situ preserved homestead of a wealthy farmer from the year 1786 with forged and barn, and a second from Meleni Korostensky translocated house . Part of the concept of the museum is that the visitors participate in the economic life of the museum, that the museum goods collected by the museum owner and his son in the Pereyaslav-Khmelnyzkyj region are not kept behind glass, but by the visitors, for example to prepare a freshly prepared meal can be used.
