Hofmark Königsdorf (Bavaria)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hofmark Königsdorf was an open Hofmark based in Königsdorf , today a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen .

The local nobility in Königsdorf is first handed down in 1083 as "Nobiles de Chumiztorf" with "Egewolf de Chumiztorf".

After the local aristocracy died out, the Hofmark came to the family of the Höhenkircher family, who had been at Königsdorf Castle since 1358. They exercised lower jurisdiction in their Hofmark .

In 1641 the Höhenkircher sold the Hofmark to the Benediktbeuern monastery .
