Cave (desert)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The cave is a desert in the town of Stadtilm in the Ilm district in Thuringia .

location

The Wüstung Hohle is located one kilometer northwest of the district of Großliebringen at the south-west sloping foot of the Loh wood, immediately near the older road to Stadtilm (now more a footpath).

history

The cave is probably identical to a settlement in the Großliebringer cave on the northwestern edge of the Deubetal , which was built in the 9th – 10th centuries . Century has fallen wildly. Found fragments could be confirmed . The site is also known to the local population. Lately one even points out the village place with an inn.
