Germán Alejandro Garmendia Aranis (born April 25, 1990 ) is a Chilean web video producer . He is the operator of the popular YouTube channel HolaSoyGerman. (German: Hello, I'm Germán ) and JuegaGerman . The former is one of the most subscribed channels on YouTube.

YouTube career

In his videos he makes fun of everyday problems. At the beginning of 2014, his video views exceeded the 1 billion mark and in July 2015 the 2 billion mark.

controversy

HolaSoyGerman has been accused several times by the Spanish YouTube community of using bot to increase “likes”. A Youtuber is said to have seen in one of his early videos that he saved a bot website under his favorites. The Youtuber is said to have spread the information through a video and HolaSoyGerman then said in a video that the allegations were false.
