The Holberg Monument is a memorial to the poet Ludvig Holberg (1684–1754) in the Norwegian city ​​of Bergen .

It is centrally located in downtown Bergen on Vågsallmenningen , close to the city's harbor. To the east is the historic Norges Bank building .

The memorial was erected to Holberg, who was born in Bergen, in 1884 on the occasion of his 200th birthday. Financing was provided by private and non-profit donors. It was created by Johan Börjeson . The result was a three-meter-tall statue depicting Holberg. It stands on a 3.10 meter high ornate base and looks west towards the harbor quay. The inscription HOLBERG is placed on the west side of the base . The monument is surrounded by a metal fence.
