Holger Mayer

Holger Mayer (born July 3, 1973 ) is a German bowling athlete .

Mayer, who lives in Heddert in Rhineland-Palatinate and has competed for KF Oberthal since 1994 , is one of the best German sports bowlers. His greatest successes include winning the team world championship and winning the mixed world championship twice. He is also multiple European champion, both individually and with the team.

With 1026 wood at 120 throws he set a new record in Bundesliga games on December 6, 2008 in the game of KF Oberthal against KSV Riol, which he set on September 4, 2010 in the game of KF Oberthal against KSC Hüttersdorf to 1029 wood with 120 Litter improved.

Holger Mayer was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf by Federal President Köhler in 2008.
