Holzbau Deutschland Bund Deutscher Zimmermeister eV is the central organization of carpentry companies in Germany, based in Berlin .
Organization and tasks
The organization is an amalgamation of the 14 regional carpentry associations. These are further subdivided into the guilds .
The central association has the functions of a
- Business association as a general body of the construction industry (representation of interests or external representation, participation in legislation, lobbying),
- Technical Association (participation in standards at German and European level).
