The home agent is a special computer that is required to implement the mobile IP . It is connected to the home network of the mobile end device ( mobile host ) and sends the data packets arriving there to the mobile host using IP-to-IP encapsulation , provided that the latter is not in the home network.
The home agent also manages the location information of the mobile host .
