Honeyeater Lake

The Honeyeater Lake is a small Grundwassersee on the Australian island of Moreton Iceland in the state of Queensland .

Various water birds live on the lake. The name of the lake refers to the species of honeyeater (Honey Eater) . They find plenty of food in the banks that grow around the lake. Rag ducks are occasionally spotted on the lake.

Honeyeater Lake can be reached from Bulwer via the Bulwer – Blue Lagoon Road . You can also view Honeyeater Lake from a platform near the parking lot on the lake. Further north is the much larger Blue Lagoon .
