Jörg Lauster

Jörg Lauster (born July 1, 1966 in Heidelberg ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

Lauster studied Protestant theology , philosophy and Romance studies at the universities of Munich , Tübingen and Heidelberg . After receiving his doctorate in Munich in 1996 with Jan Rohls and his habilitation in Mainz in 2002, Lauster was Professor of Systematic Theology and Philosophy of Religion at the Philipps University of Marburg from 2006 to 2015 . In 2015 he became - as the successor to Gunther Wenz - Professor of Systematic Theology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.

Jörg Lauster is married and has a daughter.
