Horeca is a term used mainly in Dutch from the branded goods industry (especially FMCG ), which designates a segment of sales channels .

The abbreviation stands for HO tel / RE staurant / CA fé or HO tel / RE staurant / CA tering. If a product (e.g. mineral water in small glass bottles) is only sold in the catering trade and not in the trade, it is called a "Horeca product".

For the individual sub-segments, rankings are regularly determined and published on the basis of sales figures.
