Horst Bingel Prize for Literature

The Horst Dog's Mercury Prize for Literature is a German literary prize , every two years since 2014 jointly by Horst Bingel Foundation for Literature Association and the National Association of Hesse VS is awarded. The prize is awarded by a five-person jury without an invitation to tender, with two members each being nominated by the Horst-Bingel Foundation and the VS, who then appoint a fifth member. The prize is endowed with 8,000 euros.
