Houtat Sulūk

Houtat Sulūk is a 500 m long canyon in Syria , about 65 km north of ar-Raqqa and about 10 km southeast of Sulūk near the Turkish border . Several hundred or thousand corpses are said to lie in the canyon, which various groups are said to have thrown into the depths during the Syrian civil war .
