Hubert Voigt

Hubert Voigt (* 1944 ) is a German conductor.

From 1960 to 1965 Hubert Voigt received his training as a music teacher at the "Franz Liszt" University of Music in Weimar, and from 1973 to 1977 he completed additional studies in conducting and singing. In 1978 he was hired as a conductor and at the same time the Suhl Boys' Choir , which he founded in 1972, was incorporated into the Suhl Philharmonic. Voigt directed the boys' choir until 1993 and in 21 years led it to a remarkable and recognized concert level. From 1993 to 2007 Voigt worked at the music school "Württembergisches Allgäu" in Wangen im Allgäu as a singing teacher and choir conductor.
