History and design

Built in 1590, the Hubertus-Schlössl stands on the slope of the Graz Rosenberg. In the fourth quarter of the 19th century and in 1904, two additions were made to the existing structure. The wrought-iron gate wings of the residence are dated "1778". The lattice wing in the staircase, also made of wrought iron, dates from the third quarter of the 18th century. On the first floor of the Hubertus-Schlössl there are profiled wooden beam ceilings from the construction period. The two stucco ceilings with rocaille shapes on the second floor date from 1745/50 . Among other things, the eye of God is depicted on them .

The street-side, also listed building of the Hubertus-Schlössel was demolished in 2011 and replaced by an unadorned, modern new building.
