Hugo Hallego (before 1850 - after 1909) was a stage actor and opera singer ( tenor ).

Origin and name

It is unclear whether Hallego or Hallégo is his real name or just a pseudonym. His real first name and origin are also unknown.

Life

Hallego used to work as an operetta tenor, began his theater career in Bern in 1870, came from there (1871) to Königsberg (East Prussia), 1873 to Magdeburg, 1874 to the Komische Oper in Vienna, was engaged in Hamburg in 1876, Basel 1877, Cologne 1878, 1879 Breslau, from 1880 to 1883 in Reval, 1884 Celle, from 1885 to 1886 at the Berlin Residenztheater, 1887 Aachen, 1888 Salzburg, 1889 Heidelberg, and joined the Association of the Court Theater in Karlsruhe in 1890, where he has been in the humorous subject in commendable since that time Acted wisely.
