Humanistica Lovaniensia, Journal of Neo-Latin Studies, is an international scientific journal for the study of the neo-Latin language and literature . She publishes articles on Neo-Latin topics in Latin, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish as well as critical editions of Neo-Latin texts with translations and commentaries. In addition, the journal includes an Instrumentum lexicographicum Neolatinum , an Instrumentum bibliographicum Neolatinum and an extensive index.

In Vols. 1 to 16, edited from 1928 to 1961 by Mgr. Henry De Vocht, monographs on the history of humanism in Leuven , especially in the Collegium Trilingue , were published. From volume 17 (1968), the Humanistica Lovaniensia appears annually as the Journal of Neo-Latin Studies . The publisher is the Seminarium Philologiae Humanisticae of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven .

Linked to this journal are the Supplementa Humanistica Lovaniensia (1978: Vol. 1), a series on neo-Latin research, in which reports, exhibition catalogs and critical text editions appear.
