The Hungarian Music Awards ( Hungarian : Magyar Zenei Díj , official title Fonogram - Hungarian Music Awards ) is a music prize awarded in Hungary since 1992 and is comparable to the US Grammy Awards or the BRIT Awards .

Until 2003 the music award was called the Golden Giraffe Award (ung .: Arany Zsiráf ). The prize is awarded by MAHASZ , the national music collecting society . Prizes are awarded in categories for both international and national artists.
