Huozhou kiln

The Huozhou kiln ( Chinese  霍州 窑 , Pinyin Huòzhōu yáo ) was a ceramic kiln in the Song to Mongol times in the area of ​​the city of Huozhou in the Chinese province of Shanxi . He is known for his white porcelain ( baici ). The kiln site was examined in 1975 by employees of the Beijing Palace Museum . One of his best-known products is the gaozubei (stem cup) type vessel .

In the Ming Dynasty, Cao Zhao reported on the furnace in Gegu yaolun, first published in Nanjing in 1388 .

The Huozhou Porcelain Kiln site has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-25) since 2006 .
