Husum (Copenhagen)

Husum is a district of the Danish capital Copenhagen . It belongs to the municipality of Brønshøj-Husum . Husum is seven kilometers from the city center.

history

Husum was a village in the Middle Ages. In 1782 it consisted of 17 farms. In 1901 Husum was merged with Copenhagen. From 1924, when line 5 was extended, the area was served by the Copenhagen tram.

Husum S-Bahn station

Husum station is the only S-Bahn station in the Brønshøj-Husum district. Husum Torv is a hub for bus traffic. It is served by bus routes 5A, 200S, 350S, 22, 132, 166 and 81N.
