Hydatide
In medicine, the following structures are referred to as hydatides (Greek hydatis , hydatos "water bubble"):
- the Morgagni hydatide or appendix testis , a pedunculated vesicle next to the testicle as the remainder of the Müllerian duct
- the appendix epididymidis, an appendage on the head of the epididymis as the remainder of the urinary tubules
- the echinococcal bladder or hydatid cyst , the fin stage of the echinococci and cysticercus , the cyst of other tapeworms in the intermediate host
