Hyle is an English-language scientific journal for the philosophy and theory of chemistry , edited by the chemist and philosopher Joachim Schummer . All articles in the journal appear in open access and are subjected to a peer review process. When it was founded in 1995, the journal was published by a "Philosophy and Chemistry Working Group" founded in 1993.
