I'm no Angel !! - Tenshi Ja Nai !!
I'm no Angel !! - Tenshi Ja Nai !! ( jap. 天使 じ ゃ な い !! , German for example I'm not an angel !! ) is a manga series by the Japanese illustrator Takako Shigematsu . The work has about 1600 pages.
The series is about a girl who is loved by many and a boy who pretends to be a girl. The manga can be classified into the genres shōjo , comedy , romance and drama .
action
The parents of the girl Hikaru Takabayashi move to France. Since Hikaru does not want to come, she stays in Japan and goes to a girls' school. There she soon met the actress Izumi Kido, who she rescued from a pack of fans. She discovers that Izumi is actually a boy. He blackmailed her not to betray him. At the same time, Hikaru falls in love with her young music teacher Tsukasa Ayase, who returns her love after a while.
At the same time, Izumi falls in love with Hikaru and is disappointed that she is now going out with her teacher. Hayato Kurobe, in turn, a member of a comedian duo ( Kansai - Manzai ) with Kaoru Habashi, has fallen in love with Izumi, whom he, like everyone else, takes for a girl. Izumi's manager Yasukuni Inukai tries to maintain this impression and also works as a caretaker in the girls' school in order to be able to better control Izumi. Soon Hayato's partner Kaoru also falls in love with Hikaru.
After a while, however, Tsukasa Ayase ended the relationship with Hikaru and soon afterwards also left school. Now Izumi Hikaru can confess his love, he has already made her his second manager before, so that she does not reveal his secret. Eventually, Hayata and Kaoru discover that Izumi is a boy and Izumi and Hikaru become a couple.
Publications
The manga appeared in Japan from 2003 to 2006 as a sequel story in the manga magazine Princess . The publisher Akita Shoten brought the individual chapters out in eight anthologies.
A Korean translation was published from 2004 to 2006, followed by a Chinese translation by a Taiwanese publisher. The Go! Comi published from 2005 to 2007. From May 2008 published under the title I'm no Angel !! - Tenshi Ja Nai !! eight volumes of the manga in Germany at Egmont Manga & Anime .
