history

Formerly founded as Rheinmetall Informationssysteme GmbH, the IT subsidiary of Rheinmetall AG was sold to IBM in 2003. Under new management, the company was named IBM Mittelstand Systeme GmbH. In 2008, the name of IBM Mittelstand Systeme GmbH was changed to IBM Deutschland Mittelstand Services GmbH, based in Meerbusch .
