IBM PC Local Network Program is network software for the DOS operating system . The international name is PC LAN Program (PCLP).

Range of functions

The program provides a network operating system extension for the IBM PC network and the IBM Token-Ring network. This includes file and printer shares as well as network messaging services. Users can share application programs and shared databases over the network.

development

The first version was still called the IBM PC network program and only supported the IBM PC network . On December 31, 1997, the marketing was stopped by IBM.
