ICC Women's Championship 2017-20

The 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship was a tournament of the eight best women’s national cricket teams, which took place between October 11, 2017 and April 2020. Australia was the winner of the competition .

format

Each team plays each other once. In the event of an encounter between two teams, three One-Day Internationals over 50 overs will be played. If more than three of these games are played within a tour, the games that count for this competition will be determined in advance. There are two points for a win of a game and one point for a tie or no-result. The first in the table after the end of the season is the winner of the tournament. This one, the host New Zealand and the three other top-placed teams qualified directly for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2022 , while the other teams were given another opportunity to qualify for the World Cup at the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2021 .
