IDELUX

IDELUX (also IDELUX-AIVE ) is the abbreviation for Intercommunale de Développement Economique de la Province de Luxembourg and refers to a group of intercommunales based in Arlon in the Belgian province of Luxembourg , whose basic aim is the economic development of this province.

history

IDELUX and AIVE were founded on April 5th, 1962. The tasks of IDELUX were initially limited to real estate management tasks for commercial enterprises, but after a year they were extended to the general promotion of infrastructure and economy. AIVE's area of ​​activity initially only included water management and was later expanded to include waste management.

IDELUX Finances was founded in 1996 as a further intercommunal of IDELUX-AIVE to finance real estate transactions of the group. In 2004, this business objective was expanded to include general financing transactions. In 2010 IDELUX Projets publics was added to meet the needs of the public partners.

In 2010 IDELUX generated sales of around EUR 43.4 million with 346 employees, while AIVE achieved sales of EUR 13.9 million and employed 89 people.

In the area of ​​water and waste management, 11 municipalities in the province of Liège are also supplied.
