The IMEB Phonothek is a phonotek in France founded in 2005 by the Institut international de musique électroacoustique de Bourges (IMEB) and the Bibliothèque nationale de France .

The Phonothek contains a collection of electroacoustic compositions and has the purpose of archiving essential works of this music and making them permanently accessible to the public. For this purpose, the recorded works are digitized and transferred to a hard disk system together with essential work information .
