from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ISO / IEC 15288 , entitled Systems and software engineering - System life cycle processes (Systems and software engineering - System life cycle Processes) is an international standard on the life cycle of systems which on 1 February 2008 by ISO , IEC and IEEE Computer Society has been released. ISO / IEC 15288: 2008 (E) superseded ISO / IEC 15288: 2002 and was updated by ISO / IEC / IEEE 15288: 2015. The IEEE designation is IEEE Std 15288-2008 . At ISO, the technical committee JTC 1 / SC 7 Software and systems engineering is responsible for this standard.

The standard deals with the goal, evaluation and improvement of processes. The terminology is based on ISO / IEC 12207

The following sub-processes are defined and subdivided in the life cycle
