IUCAB (Internationally United Commercial Agents and Brokers) is a worldwide alliance of independent distribution companies in particular sales representatives - and commercial broker organizations. It was founded in Amsterdam in 1953 and is based in Vienna, Austria. IUCAB represents the professional and economic interests of the member organizations as well as their members on an international level.
Via the leading international B2B platform for trade and sales, clients (manufacturers / suppliers) are supported worldwide in setting up and expanding their sales (agency brokerage). The president is Olivier Mazoyer, France. Secretary General is Christian Rebernig, Austria.
Task of the IUCAB
The association represents professional interests on an international level, e.g. B. vis-à-vis the bodies and authorities of the European Union, ICC, Unidroit and maintains relationships between international business and professional organizations and other international political and public institutions. The IUCAB promotes qualified international contract sales. It is committed to ensuring that qualified commercial agencies will continue to be available to international markets in the future. IUCAB's task is also to support the members of the IUCAB associations with information and services and to ensure the commercial success of the sales representatives and brokers.

The aim of the association is to preserve, protect and promote the freedom and economic development of international trade, to strengthen the common interests of commercial agents and brokers and to strengthen the position of commercial agents and brokers as independent entrepreneurs in all countries.
history
Already in the years between the First and the Second World War, contacts arose between several national associations of independent sales representatives with the aim of international cooperation for the benefit of their members. These contacts were resumed after the end of World War II and on September 21, 1953 the Internationally United Commercial Agents and Brokers (IUCAB) was founded. At that time the IUCAB consisted of seven national member associations. In the following years, other national associations from Europe and North America joined the IUCAB.
