Vejen Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Malt Herred in the then Ribe Office , then to Vejen Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejen municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Of the 9853 inhabitants of Vejen , 9142 live in the parish of Vejen (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Vejen Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Læborg Sogn in the north, Gesten Sogn in the northeast, Andst Sogn in the east, Skodborg Sogn in the south, Skrave Sogn in the southwest and Malt Sogn and Askov Sogn in the west .
