Åstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Gørding Herred in what was then Ribe Office , then to Holsted Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejen municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

The parish has 1284 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Åstrup Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the northeast Lindknud Sogn , in the southeast Holsted Sogn , in the southwest Vejrup Sogn in the neighboring Esbjerg municipality , and in the Varde municipality in the west Fåborg Sogn and in the north Agerbæk Sogn .
