Hovborg Sogn (until October 1, 2010: Hovborg Kirkedistrikt ( German: church district ) in Lindknud Sogn ) is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until October 1, 2010 it was only a church district in Lindknud Sogn. When all church districts in Denmark were dissolved on this date, it became an independent Sogn.
603 inhabitants live in the parish, 398 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Hovborg Kirke" is located in the parish.

Until 1970 Lindknud Sogn belonged to Harde Malt Herred in what was then Ribe Office , then to Holsted Municipality in the extended Ribe Office , which was merged into Vejen Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local reform .
