Veerst Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Anst Herred in the then Ribe Office , then to Vejen Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejen municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

The parish has 564 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Veerst Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Gesten Sogn in the south and Bække Sogn in the west , also in the neighboring Billund municipality in the northwest Vorbasse Sogn , in the Vejle municipality in the north Egtved Sogn and in the Kolding municipality in the east Jordrup Sogn and in the southeast Lejrskov Sogn .
