Egtved Kirke

Egtved Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Jerlev Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Egtved Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

3,674 inhabitants live in the parish, 2,420 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Egtved Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Randbøl Sogn and Nørup Sogn in the north, Ødsted Sogn and Øster Starup Sogn in the east , furthermore in the neighboring Kolding municipality Vester Nebel Sogn and Jordrup Sogn , in the south-west Vejen municipality Veerst Sogn and in the western Billund municipality Vorbasse Sogn .
