Skærup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Holmans Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Børkop Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

816 inhabitants live in the parish, 498 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church “Skærup Kirke”.

Neighboring communities are in the north Vinding Sogn , in the east Gauerslund Sogn , in the south Smidstrup Sogn , in the west Højen Sogn and in the north-west Sankt Nikolaj Sogn .
