Gauerslund Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish Sogn ) in southern Denmark .

history

Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Holmans Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Børkop Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

10,055 inhabitants live in the parish, 5799 of them in the former commune center Børkop and 3089 in the parish village of Brejning (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish are the churches "Gauerslund Kirke" and "Brejning Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Smidstrup Sogn , Skærup Sogn and Vinding Sogn in the west, Gårslev Sogn in the east and Bredstrup Sogn and Pjedsted Sogn in the neighboring Fredericia municipality to the south .
