Jerlev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Jerlev Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Egtved Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

970 inhabitants live in the parish, 661 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Jerlev Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Skibet Sogn in the north, Højen Sogn in the east, Øster Starup Sogn in the south and Ødsted Sogn in the west .
